Connecticut

Our time in southern Connecticut was full of simple joys and new experiences! We stayed near the beautiful Long Island Sound, where we loved running along the beach as we trained for our upcoming 5K. We also explored a bit of history with a visit to the Mark Twain Home and Museum. During our stay, we had the fun experience of doing a house sit, where we got to care for a sweet French Bulldog, a cat, and some lively chickens. Of course, no trip would be complete without trying some local favorites — we enjoyed world-famous New Haven pizza and even some classic steamed burgers.
