Virginia

Our journey through the Northeastern U.S. began in beautiful Virginia! We started by visiting Mike’s cousins near Harrisonburg, enjoying some wonderful family time. Then we stayed in Leesburg, just outside of Washington, D.C., and spent our days exploring, starting our Couch-to-5K training on some great trails and then enjoying amazing pastries at Dulce and Ciabatta. A highlight was visiting Great Falls Park, where we took in the stunning views along the Potomac River. Emily and Olivia also had a blast fueling their creativity and imagination with a visit to the Inventor’s Hall of Fame. This was just the beginning of our three-month adventure, and Virginia gave us the perfect start filled with family, nature, and inspiration!
